What the call is looking for
This is the Fund’s first call for medium-size grants. According to IUCN, it focuses on removing the barriers that stop ecosystem-based adaptation from reaching scale, including work on innovative finance, human development and security, and links between the climate, biodiversity and land agendas.
Call summaries list NGOs, INGOs, community-based organisations, Indigenous Peoples’ organisations, academic and research institutions and consortia among eligible applicants. Check the Fund’s Grants Procedure Manual for the definitive eligibility rules before applying.
Note
The companion small-size grants call (up to USD 250,000) closed on 26 October 2026.
